Hunters Manifesto

Okay, so I reserve the right to change or refine this over time.

I have a fundamental belief that, tragedies notwithstanding, we generally get what we deserve.

We get the politicians we deserve, the society we deserve, the fashions, celebrities and music we deserve. Professional Politicians in office for the money and amateur musicians lip syncing and never having picked up an instrument. With world economics based on an expectation of growth that is unrealistic, trading intangibles instead of a gold standard. With 90% of the world’s wealth in the hands of less than 4% of the population, you know that cannot be sustained.

So with and economic collapse starting in Europe, it is only a matter of time before economic powerhouse of old, the USA, might become a second world nation compared to the rise of the China and India. And yes this will happen because...we deserve for it to happen. If the seas rise, ice-caps melt, coastal nations vanish along with coral reefs and fisheries decline to a stage where wild caught fish is no longer an affordable food.

Now, if all this comes to pass, then what can I say?

Except….. we deserved it.

Finally, if on the other hand, we take action, discard our apathetic ways, recognise oil production has already peaked, put a value of clean air, water and carbon, then maybe and just maybe we deserve what would be a better future than the one currently in sight. Just maybe if we can start value our least advantaged in our society over the privileged, shallow and under contributing wealthy, we then deserve a better outcome. We might just deserve to live in a society where there is food, shelter, safety education, healthcare and opportunity for all independent of personal wealth but rather personal potential underwritten by our national or global wealth.

This might not quite explain Zombies, but I figure, that if you are prepared for Zombies for you are ready for anything.
